Miss Catherine Wilson MA (Cantab) MA (Ed), CPT3A, NPQH, BPS

Assistant Head Teacher, SENCO and Hub Manager

Catherine has been teaching at St John Fisher school since 2002 and has been Assistant Head Teacher and SENCO since 2008. She has worked closely with the team at the Local Authority to develop the work of the Hub and is the strategic lead for the school. She liaises with other Sensory Hub leads to provide a service for Peterborough and is also qualified to complete educational assessments. She is currently working on a Masters in SEND, specialising in the development of Speech and Language.

 

 

 

Mrs Shelley Brown

Specialist HLTA

Shelley was appointed Hub HLTA from September 2016. Before that she had a long association with the school through her work as a specialist Teaching Assistant for the Sensory Support Service in Peterborough and had previously supported many of our HI learners. Shelley has the HLTA qualification and is also trained in Oral Language Modification. In addition she attends all the Peterborough SEND network training and is enthusiastic about developing her knowledge in order to support the experience and development of students with a Hearing Impairment. Shelley is the operational lead for the Hub and works with the Manager to deliver bespoke programmes and ensure that there is a holistic approach to our students.
