Mrs Lucy Lester

Lucy was previously an Art and Textiles teacher at St John Fisher school before she was appointed to the role of Teacher of the Deaf in September 2023. She has over 10 years teaching experience in Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire schools. She currently holds the BSL level 1 qualification and is working towards level 2.

Mr Justin Stanford

Justin was appointed Hub HLTA in January 2021. Before that, he has been working as a Teaching Assistant within the SEND department, a form Tutor for Rochester house, and also a cover supervisor. Justin has the HLTA qualification and is also training in Oral Language Modification.

In addition, he attends all the Peterborough SEND network training and is enthusiastic about developing his knowledge in order to support the experience and development of deaf students. Justin works with the Hub Manager and Assistant Learning Support Coordinator Shelley Brown to deliver bespoke programmes and ensure that there is a holistic approach to our students.
