Remote Education Provision – Information for Parents
Self-isolating
If you are off school self-isolating work will be set for you. You will find a folder for each year group and subject on the Student: W Drive on Teams. Here you will have access to 3-5 Core lessons for the topic that you are studying in school.
National Lockdown
In the event of a National Lockdown, you are expected to continue to learn from home using Teams to access your work according to your timetable. This will be a blended approach which may consist of: live lessons, pre-recorded lessons, use of video, worksheets and independent study.

Accessing Teams
Office 365 is an online based product providing access to Email and Office programs via the internet both in school and at home. Office 365 will give students access to email and all Office programs including Word, Excel etc. One Drive is also available to upload documents to.
To access Office 365:
From home – https://www.office.com/ https://login.microsoftonline.com/ or search for Office 365
Username: is your school email address JBloggs@sjfchs.net
Password: this is your usual password when you log in at school.
Curriculum
We aim to teach the same curriculum remotely as we do in school wherever possible and appropriate.

Please note that each term your child in Year 7 and 8 will be given a new Knowledge Organiser to ADD to the previous.
